Before the attention goes away remember that occupation & sustained demonstration is v much a part of Seattle's civil rights tradition which—whether #CHOP#CHAZ knows it—they've inherited. So a brief & incomplete list of occupations that shaped the city if you're new or forgot:

The US healthcare system is malignant. Imagine if, during this crisis, we could all just focus on staying healthy, protecting our HCW and caring for the sick and not worry how we will pay for or get paid for all of it? The need for Medicare for All should be clearer than ever.
You don’t always get the candidate you want. And even when you do, they are liable upon occasion to disappoint you. That’s politics. And life. What it’s not is a reason not to vote.
