It just feels very backhanded. Personally, if I was in Valve’s position, I would do what happened with PAYDAY 2, and let people genuinely passionate about the game continue to update it, adding actual new content that isn’t the same seasonal stuff.
I’ve seen a couple of posts about TF2’s state and how it’s unreasonable to expect a game to be updated forever. Ok, YES, I DO believe it is unreasonable to expect a game be updated forever. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE that a developer should not feel tied to a project forever. But -
I think it is UNFAIR to continuously update that game for SOLEY monetary purposes, which is, in my opinion, what TF2 has been for a VERY long time now. The seasonal updates feel like an excuse for Valve to make money off new cosmetics and stuff that they don’t have to make. -
OK JESUS CHRIST ITS NOT EVEN MY FAULT, is there something in the water of EU servers that makes my team incapable of staying for a whole god damn game??????
How it feels to play deadlock and have a decent early game but then just eat shit and continuously do worse and your not even that behind on souls your just facing Israel’s finest and you can’t even say anything cuz you know your team will just grill you to absolution 🥀
Don’t worry, there’ll be drawings soon, it’s just drawing hasn’t exactly been the forefront of what I’m currently up to. I been doing a lot of exercise and writing lately, plus the usual dreaded uni work, so I’ve just not really found myself too motivated for art.
Btw those things that I said will be in motion are in motion I just can’t really show off that motion just yet, the motion of the things in motion being shown of is in motion…
