Why do some of our politicians hate science?
(1) It exposes their flawed or baseless decision-making
(2) It unmasks their ignorance
(3) It holds them accountable based on facts
(4) It paves the way for their greatest fear: an educated, enlightened citizenry
At the end of 2020, instead of 30 Under 30 and NextGen lists, please profile middle-aged people who just got their big breaks. I want to read about a mother of 2 who published her first novel, a director who released their first studio feature at 47, THAT'S THE LIST WE WANT.
What a busy night. Literally nonstop since I came in for shift and just taking a 10-minute break before meds and handover again. Yes, 10 mins. out of 13 hours at work. WTH.
2019 threw me into the pit of all the plot twists and here I am now waiting for 2020 so I can finally eat~ with a completely different outlook and attitude towards the new year. Happy clear vision everyone!! #2020… https://t.co/1NHQgeRw6O
"Di nataya yung number ko dati sa lotto kaya di ako nanalo pero sobrang yaman ko pa din... mayaman ako kasi nanjan pa din kayo ng mga kapatid mo." Omg my heart 😭 Lakas makapagpaiyak ng nanay ko bago maggreet ng happy new year 😭 2020 please be good to my mum. 🙏🏻😇💙
12-hour long xmas party with colleagues, errands day today then back to work tomorrow until Thursday. Walang time for any extra curricular. Taena, pano po magka-lovelife?
Joined the first ward party with Wonderwall being the most memorable song to end the night. This evening we sang the same song to end the karaoke night and we all cheered the name of the ward after. Nothing can ever top this. What a great ending to an epic chapter we all had. ❤
One of the worst nights in A&E
It’s not safe
It’s not fair
Not fair on patients
And it’s not fair on staff
Im so angry because this hasn’t ‘just happened’
Result of decisions by politicians, who ignored warnings
They need to take responsibility
Start taking this seriously
