In partnership with Educaidtraining, EMDYS will be offering the babysitting, home alone, and first aid training courses at EMDYS on select professional development days. Several of the courses can be used for credits in high school (gr. 9's only).

A special thank you to Alberta Lacrosse for coming out for two days at EMDYS. All students received lacrosse instruction on Tuesday and Wednesday; as part of our larger PE program and healthy initiative here at EMDYS it was an incredible two days.

The first annual EMDYS Advent Retreat is Friday, Dec. 14th from 4pm-8:30pm. The evening will feature pizza, games, talks, prayers, and praise and worship to get ready for the Advent season. Please sign up at the office. This event is no cost.

2018-2019 student wellness team would like to acknowledge the hard work and great ideas brought forth by last year’s wellness team.  This year's project is supplying each classroom with a basket of fresh fruit each week for the students.

Please join us this week as we collect for the Leduc and District Food Bank Fall Food Roundup. Students are being asked, if they are able, to bring in non-perishable food items and to place them by the statute of Mother d'Youville in the main foyer.

Our Terry Fox Walk is fast approaching on Thursday, September 20th in the afternoon. We invite and encourage all families to bring a toonie for Terry to support the Terry Fox foundation and complete his marathon of hope.
