H.E. Peter Obi visited the Nigerian Air Force to offer his condolences following the tragic air crash that claimed the lives of some officers.

May Almighty God grant the departed eternal rest and comfort their families, colleagues and the entire Nigerian Air Force during this difficult time.

Nigeria MUST be OK.

Nigerians, do not mind Dr Abati. Make sure you set up your own parallel INEC and situation rooms on election day. It is not a crime to have your own; the only crime is when you declare the final results. Nigerians, do not be fooled for the second time.

— Rufai Oseni, after a heated in-studio exchange on Arise this morning about having a parallel INEC.

Our Lady of the Rosary, teach us to love the Holy Rosary and to pray it with faith and devotion. Through the mysteries of your Son's life, help us contemplate Jesus more deeply and conform our lives to Him. Bring our families under your maternal protection and obtain for us the graces we need. May the Rosary become for us a source of peace, strength, conversion, and hope. Amen.

Mourning Mallam Nafiu Baba-Ahmed

I sincerely condole with the Baba-Ahmed family over the passing of Mallam Nafiu Baba-Ahmed, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria.

Mallam Nafiu was a lawyer, scholar and administrator who served with dedication and distinction. He was also a bridge-builder who believed in justice, peaceful coexistence and the importance of bringing people together.

His passing is a loss to his family, the Council, Kaduna State, the Muslim Ummah and our nation. At a time when Nigeria needs more voices for peace, understanding and justice, his absence will be deeply felt.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues and all who mourn him. May Almighty God forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest, and give his loved ones the strength and comfort to bear this painful loss. -PO

Mary Herself prophesied, “All generations will call Me blessed” (Luke 1:48).
Honoring Her is therefore completely biblical.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
