The Fourth Estate (a Ghanaian investigative journalism organisation) deliberately created a FAKE product called MACOFA Herbal Mixture.
The name Macofa was a made-up acronym formed from the first two letters of three common drinks: Malt + Coca-Cola + Fanta — Ma + Co + Fa = Macofa.
The purpose was to test media compliance and regulatory oversight , specifically whether media houses and advertisers would run ads for an unapproved product without checking with the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
Whoever is advising the communications of the govt and its members better realise seeing stuff like this is beginning to irritate us. If you won't put people in jail or start prosecutions which will end while you're still in power don't ever tell us someone has stolen anything
