My dear friend Dari is courageously battling Grade 2 Papillary Renal Cell Carcinoma, a form of kidney cancer. After major surgery to remove his left kidney and the tumour, further scans revealed lesions highly suggestive of the cancer spreading to his liver.

He is now undergoing intensive immunotherapy and targeted treatment under the close supervision of his oncology team. This journey has been physically, emotionally and financially demanding, but Dari continues to face it with remarkable courage and hope.

We have created a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the cost of his ongoing treatment, medication, medical tests and hospital care. Every donation, no matter the amount will make a meaningful difference.

This 15-year-old Master Etim decided to write his name in Gold by winning the Sterling Bank Online National Mathematics Quiz competition.

He is currently an SS2 student at Dority International Secondary School Aba, in Abia State. Stephen outperformed students from across Nigeria. A superstar is born. 👏👏

We made this short documentary telling the story of how our stars Egejurum Onyedikachi, Onwubiko Chimdiebube, and Don Anele Munachimso went from competing in and winning the South East Maths Olympiad to bringing home gold medals at the International STEM Olympiad in Rome last week.

It's such a beautiful and inspiring story to watch.

Seeing students from the South East achieve this on the international stage reminds us of what is possible when young people are given the right opportunities.

We are changing the story of education in the South East and Nigeria, and this is just the beginning.

We will be closing registration for the 2027 South East Maths Olympiad on September 30, 2026.

No other registrations will be accepted after the date above.

We currently have 32,738 students registered. Anambra State currently has the lowest registration so far.

We will also be introducing the South East Science Olympiad in 2027 and one registration covers both competitions. I’m worried about the current gap in science among our children, and we will urgently need to fix it.

Maths will be compulsory for everyone, while Science will be optional. However, the prize money will be split across both.

A student is allowed to win both Maths and Science. Only the winners of Maths will represent us at the global stage in Lisbon, Portugal in 2027.

We will also be sharing a new curriculum based on high-order thinking and pure application.
