This is exactly what Prince Adeboye, one of the presidential aspirants, has been saying ,that Nigerians deserve answers about the persistent insecurity and allegations that government officials or security agencies may be enabling or failing to adequately confront terrorism and kidnapping.

If ordinary citizens can sometimes confront and apprehend suspected kidnappers with little or no equipment, what is stopping Nigeria’s well-funded and heavily equipped security agencies from effectively dismantling these criminal networks?

The government has the resources, intelligence capabilities, personnel, and constitutional responsibility to protect Nigerians and bring an end to the killings and kidnappings.

These are serious questions that deserve transparent answers not excuses.

Nigerians deserve security, accountability, and a government that protects lives.
