@reesetheone1 Yep. All this recent talk about “the most consequential election of our lifetimes.” If you were alive in 2000, this one was it. I will die mad about it.
@contendingclass My favorite suppression win was the one where the prosecutor laughed and called my motion frivolous before the hearing. Of course, jokes on me cause they’re a judge now. 😒
@LilBeanDip5012@DougtheLawyer It’s classic impeachment as it calls into question the truthfulness of the testimony. The snitch has told the police things before and received a benefit. I’m sure this was a high profile case, so not hard to fabricate a believable confession. Have to be able to cross on it.
@guybranum A friend has a trans son & recently testified at the shitty state legislature. There is data, the majority of volleyball players 10-19 are girls, a study that looked at a 10 year period found about 275k injuries, but they only want to tell you about the one caused by a trans girl
@TheFoxMatriarch The startup costs are crazy, even building your own coop is super expensive now with the cost of lumber. 5y in we are just paying for feed & shavings, which is not terrible. And if you sell a few dozen a month it offsets those costs, especially now that store eggs are $6/dz.
@SymoneDSanders They all should have filed out after Al Green. These people are terminally unable to meet the moment. The signs are fucking embarrassing. Every member should have yelled out a correction to a lie & gotten themselves escorted out. Or they all should have not gone.
@jonfavs Meanwhile they’re gutting the social security workforce, so fewer people to investigate actual fraud! They do a home visit for proof of life once you turn 100. It’s how a lot of people get caught if they don’t inform social security when a family member dies.
