With just the surgery: 10% chance of reoccurrence; with surgery and short-term, targeted, low-dose radiation treatments: 2% chance of reoccurrence. So, Mom just had her first of three radiation treatments on Good Friday! One treatment down; two to go. 🙏😌💜🧡🥰

So, I just wanted to let you all know that my mom had her surgery on Wednesday morning. She came through with ‘flying colors‘. Doctor very pleased; doesn’t think cancer has spread, but will know more in two weeks!🙏😌💜🧡🥰

I just wanted to let everyone know that while my mom’s cancer surgery was entirely successful, (the cancer hadn’t spread) doctors advised her that she would need a brief course of low-dose, targeted radiation treatments to further lessen the chances of a possible reoccurrence.

@GeneralCattis Awww...I’m so sorry for your loss, ‘Mad Cat’. 😿😥💔It’s truly devastating to have to say goodbye to a lifelong friend, but I’m sure Sadie appreciated that you were with her when she needed you most; she was surrounded by love to the very end.

#LoveYourPetDay: 5) I have always wondered just what Lollipop and Ruby were dreaming about to cause them to try to paw at each other like that!🤔🥰😅

#LoveYourPetDay: 1) I can remember a day when two of my kitties - Ruby and Lollipop - were sleeping peacefully on opposite sides of a rollaway tray table (basically inches away from each other, but with the wheeled metal bar of the table separating them)

#LoveYourPetDay: 4) Apparently, the entire episode was just a case of ‘sleeping fisty-paws‘! I was just surprised because both kitties seemingly woke up at the exact same moment, waved their paws at each other across the table leg, then immediately fell back to sleep.

@NewShelvesBooks I really feel for you and your mom, Amy.💜Trust me, I felt the same way during my mom’s recent surgery.😌I didn’t really know what to do with myself, but I knew that as long as I kept myself busy, then my mind didn’t have a chance to dwell on anything.

I live in Albany, upstate New York which is about ten minutes from Troy. There was a certain amount of local excitement about a Hollywood movie filming in the area.

Not entirely sure how accurate the movie is, but parts of the 2002 movie adaptation of “The Time Machine” were supposedly filmed in Troy, New York. H. G. Wells‘ great-grandson Simon Wells directed the movie, and revised and expanded the plot a little bit to turn-of-century NYC.
