Jordan Sangwin, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant following a double homicide, was last seen near High Park in Toronto around 11 p.m. last night and is believed to be travelling on foot.

Desc: Medium build, short salt & pepper hair, clean shaven. Wearing: Grey long sleeve shirt, dark shorts and carrying a black duffle bag.

He should be considered armed and dangerous. Do NOT approach. Call 911 immediately if seen.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police. REMINDER: Individuals who assist, harbour, or conceal a person wanted by police may face criminal charges.

In a theater performance of Romeo and Juliet in Russia, at the exact scene where Romeo is dying, Juliet was having an emotional moment by his side.

At that very moment, the theater’s cat entered the stage and went up to Romeo, pulling his hair. Then, looking at Juliete, the cat said: “Don’t be ridiculous, he’s alive, look,” trying to wake Romeo up.

This absurd moment completely broke the atmosphere of the scene. The audience, who had been crying just seconds before, suddenly burst into laughter.

From that point on, the story of Romeo and Juliet turned into something completely different because of the cat…

As our communities continue to grieve, a moment of honour unfolded overhead at the Barrie Airshow yesterday. In a powerful and moving act of remembrance, the @CFSnowbirds paid tribute with a flyover in honour of OPP Provincial Constable Tarun Bali and @TorontoPolice Service Emergency Task Force Constable Marc Pinizzotto.

We are deeply grateful for this meaningful gesture which offered reflection, unity and remembrance during an incredibly difficult time.

Three days and 36,000 flowers later, the Canadian flag is back along Highway 401. 🇨🇦🌸

Last week, our parks team was hard at work planting the floral Canadian flag display. From months of tending to the begonias in our greenhouses, to preparing the bed and hand-placing each and every flower, this display is truly a labour of love.
