You can disagree politically with people and get along, respect them, eat dinner with them, have a beer, etc. I’d worry if you couldn’t.

But draw a line when they’re haphazardly bad at their job and so political that they agree with anything their chosen party says.

That’s Brenna Bird.

Brenna Bird does whatever she thinks Donald Trump wants. She doesn’t even read the lawsuits she signs onto, and that’s a dangerous and morally reprehensible feature (not a bug) of her ignorance.

In February of 2025, she proudly enjoined Iowa with other conservative states in a lawsuit without understanding what it would actually do. The lawsuit was shrouded in a cloak of “protecting young girls,” but was so awfully put together that Bird, who claims to be an attorney herself, didn’t even know what it would impact.

The lawsuit would’ve ended Section 504 protections unilaterally. Section 504 is legislation that protects children with documented disabilities from discrimination - you know, like autism - and would have opened the door to kick kids completely out of school for simply being autistic and “causing a distraction.”

Again, she went on a media tour saying she was protecting kids from transvestites - but the lazy ass didn’t even read the lawsuit and didn’t realize it simply deleted, ended, whatever you want to call it - all of section 504, not just the new language added to the code which protected trans youth.

She later quietly withdrew Iowa’s name after thousands of Iowans, like myself, who have children with disabilities called and pounded on her door - but don’t think we forgot, Brenna. We won’t forget your cowardice and ignorance and wonton disregard for our kids.

I implore you, as a father, to vote for @WillemsForIowa .

Don’t, under any circumstances, vote for Bird. She’s a lazy boot licker who will eventually get away with this shit, and the only way to ensure she doesn’t is to make sure she has to go get a real job by ousting her in November.

Hopefully, one with proper insurance and protections.
