Day of Harmony
Ethiopia is shaping her bright future with her own hands, guided by indigenous values! By expanding on these generational values and our philosophy of Medemer (synergy), we have laid an unshakable foundation for multinational unity. Through concrete actions from launching the historic national dialogue to implementing human-centred corridor developments, volunteer programs, and the Green Legacy initiative; we have proven that unity transforms shared narratives into collective success. We are not just building an inclusive, economically self-reliant nation; we are unlocking the collective potential of all Ethiopians as we march together toward prosperity.
One People, Great Nation, Ethiopia!

Part of my discussion with @poaenglish was on regional dynamics over the Nile. One of my consistent points has been that if Egypt recognized that this is 2026, not the 19th/20th Century, there could be a win/win agreement with Ethiopia over the Nile.

It was a pleasure to address the Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai, #UAE I underscored that Africa’s time of prosperity is now; #Ethiopia is open for business and ready to build enduring, high-value partnerships with those who share our confidence in the continent’s promise and its potential.
Peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is one of Prez Trump's genuine achievements and is not only holding but helping both. If these two bitter enemies can make up, no reason Congo and Rwanda could not do same. Just have to find right deal to benefit both.

Developed under the Medemer Government, Friendship Park is a vibrant hub where families, creators, and visitors converge. It has generated nearly 1 Billion Birr in just 4 years. Beyond the numbers, it’s a sanctuary for health, recreation, and community.
It is the ultimate blueprint for Addis Ababa’s future: spaces that create opportunity, generate value, and, above all, belong to everyone.
Federalism can fail when regional divisions, ethnic tensions, or weak central governance tear a country apart, as seen historically in the breakup of ethno-linguistic federations like the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, and Czechoslovakia.
Devour this text wherever encountered! In his formidable cerebral prowess andspeculative acumen,Mr.Chuchu Alebachew presents a quintessential literary boon to Ethiopians-his groundbreaking tome,"Yetekeze Politica"
Eritrea’s longtime dictatorship desperately trying to ride the dead TPLF horse to Addis Ababa is laughable. These old dummies are stuck in 1991. Their stagnation is depressingly real.
Congratulations to new Nobel Peace Prize laureate María Corina Machado for her courageous struggle to bring democracy to Venezuela. It should inspire those engaged in similar struggles around the world - and remind those of us lucky enough to live in America that we have a solemn responsibility to constantly preserve and defend our own hard-won democratic traditions.
Retired Egyptian Military Officer Admits Decades-Long Plot Against Ethiopia🤔
“We’re the ones who ignited Eritrea’s secession movement—to tear Ethiopia apart, cripple its development, take away its ability to develop the Nile and Red Sea access. For decades, we sabotaged Ethiopia from within. Our mission? Keep it weak."
This explosive admission reveals a calculated campaign to destabilize a nation. The implications are staggering🌍💥 #GeopoliticalTruth #Ethiopia #Egypt #HiddenWars
The improvement of the revenue collection capacity of the Somali Region since the reform is one good indicator of improved governance and accountability. This fiscal year, 2024/2025 (2017 Ethiopian Calendar), the region planned to collect 17.6b Birr, but managed to collect 18.5b Birr, or 104.6% of the plan. This accounts for about 45% of the total regional budget, a significant increase from the revenue share of the regional budget in 2018, which was 15%. With the increased economic activities in the region as the result of peace, and enhanced taxation capacity, the plan for the 2025/2026 year (2018 Eth Calendar) will be to aim for around 30b, thus increasing the share of revenue to 47% of the total budget.
“The Ethiopian authorities have made a significant progress in implementing fundamental macroeconomic reforms under the ECF, approved in July 2024. Economic indicators have improved markedly, with better-than-expected results for inflation, export growth, and international reserves. Sustained reform momentum is essential to consolidate recent gains and foster a more favorable environment for investment. Priorities include improving foreign exchange (FX) market functioning, boosting domestic revenues, restoring external debt sustainability, and enhancing fiscal transparency”.
