My manager talked me into running a half marathon on 4 weeks. She is also the person who talked me into running 20 miles for a different race. I have to stop letting her talk me into the shit.
In case anyone wants to know what an “empty nest” looks like. This is a picture of my parents in their first class seats (nests) with the caption, “We love being empty nesters!” #imineconomy
Instead of working to try to get caught up on things before leave, I instead did the next lamest thing and filed my taxes like a true accounting nerd 🙃
2019 off to a banging start. My brother comes home from deployment in February and he gets his next station in Rota, Spain! HELLO Europe, or should I say Hola?! #thankful
Does anyone else have a dog that loves the Polar Vortex and requires coaxing with treats to come inside? Kaiser has turned it into a game of “let’s see how long I can stay outside until Emily gets nervous the neighbors are going to call the cops for leaving a dog outside.”
@TheMCCourier1@Monmouth This is Kaiser, a German Shepard and he loves all Fighting Scots. He is a bit partial to the soccer programs as his mom and dad are alumni!
On this morning’s episode of “Matt and Emily never have their sh*t together”, Matt took a vehicle with both sets of keys in it so now the dog and I are stranded until further notice.
The anticipation is REAL when awaiting a co-worker’s response to the overly used question “how are you?” Like, is it gunna be “ya know, same old same old” or something inspiring like “just livin the dream”
I’d like to get into contact with all the folks who sell my phone number to telemarketers. Not to complain, but just to work out a deal so I can get a cut too.
Operation: Teach my dog how to do the “bang bang” trick has turned into me with a bloody nose and no actual work for my job getting done. #workfromhome
