My beautiful sis, Sara Richardson Roque, died today at sunrise.

Her generosity, creativity, fierceness, brilliance and laughter inspired so many in the arts and beyond…May her vision live on and may her journey be peaceful.

Grateful for the compassionate care provided by colleagues, the support and love of friends, the healing and guidance of Elders.

Sarah King: exceptional. Creative, resilient, intelligent, hilarious. She made me intricate lampshades out of brillo.
She stayed by me for days when i was ill. She'd arrive with vintage couches hoisted on her back. She showed her children how to be strong and genuine.
