Elizabeth Macarthur High School's SRC and up and coming school leaders attended the University of Wollongong for a GRIP Leadership Conference. Students learnt valuable leadership qualities and strategies to improve their skills as individuals and as school leaders at EMHS.
Congratulations to Diya in Year 12 2022. Diya was presented with an award for her inclusion in Young Writer’s Showcase, which is a publication of the most outstanding HSC Extension English 2 major works. The award ceremony was held in the NSW State Library.
The Big Sister Little Sister program commenced for this term. Students came together to discuss group expectations, got to meet their buddy and spent time having conversations. We look forward to seeing the progress our students make.
Today our First Nations, Pacifica and Bollywood groups performed at Spring Farm PS for their Multicultural day. Students at Spring Farm PS were so excited to see Elizabeth Macarthur High School's multicultural dances.
Thurs 24th August, the U15 Boys played a highly skilled Holsworthy HS team in the SSW Basketball QF . What ended as a tight encounter, with the final score, 54-46. The boys represented our school with respect, responsibility and pride and should be proud of their efforts.
Yesterday, Year 11 students attended the BStreetSmart Road Safety presentation at Quodos Bank Areana. The purpose of BstreetSmart is to reduce the fatality and injury rates of young people by promoting safe behaviour as drivers, riders and passengers.
Congratulations to Hannah and Leroy in Year 11 who are recipients for the prestigious Victor Chang Award.
The Victor Chang School Science Award celebrates gifted students, and stimulates growth in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects.
Year 12 dance students completed their practical HSC examinations on Monday. The practical exam is worth 80% of their total grade. Abygail, Grace and Portia with their dancers Jeselle , Abigail and Charlotte , worked extremely hard dedicating many hours before & after school.
EMHS students continuing to engage with local primary school sport, doing a fantastic job umpiring Narellan Vale’s regional semi-final today. Well done girls.

Monday to kick of education week 2023 all students will watch the livestream celebrating 175 years of public education at 10am. Monday will start with period 1 at 8.50, period 2 9.50 & roll call at 10.50 with recess - period 5 as normal.
On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, Elizabeth Macarthur High school remembers all those fallen in war.

Not long before we will all be back together - Oct 18th year 12, Oct 25th- return of the whole school together again with respect, responsibility and pride.
Thank you to the 2021 Prefects for your patience, tenacity and grit. You have left a lasting legacy for the school with well-being events that were inclusive and allowed all students to feel connected to their school.
