Had to watch another Damian McCarthy movie immediately after Hokum and wow. I knew the main jump scare was coming but it still got me 😔 again i love that the aspects around grief and the mystery around the murder are as strong as the scary bits

I was on the edge of my seat i was so nervous to get jump scared during this. Honestly a beautiful story and they played around the grief and guilt aspect of this beautifully while still keeping the scary supernatural elements
