@TeacherArthurG I know. Itwas bad. The CL and DR were horrible. But thank goodness the toxic principal retired, so I am free. I want to get involved more in the union, but it is rough as I am not in 1 school 5 days/week. I participate in the meetings & help advocate for my colleagues where I can
@TeacherArthurG Unfortunately I usually have to the UFT higher up for my issues since the CLs and DRs do not usually know how to help me I have botice since I am not a teacher. The specific DR did not want to help me file a grievance and the leader of my functional chapter was no help as well.
@TizzyEnt You got me. That's it. Four boxes shipped to my house. You have a big heart to do this! Thank you for letting us know and using your platform to help this little girl❤️
I was honored to give the keynote speech at the Quest for Democracy in Saudi Arabia Summit and wanted to share my full remarks.
I agreed to give this keynote because patriotic Saudi citizens asked me to speak out about the abuses of the Saudi Crown Prince, Muhammad bin Salman (MBS).
MBS is trying to whitewash his regime’s tyranny by weaponizing culture and popular culture against his citizens.
Life in Saudi Arabia may appear glitzy and filled with entertainment to those in the world who don’t look closer, but it is soaked in blood and enforced silence thanks to MBS.
I was touched by the wonderful introduction given to me by the Saudi women’s activist @LinaAlhathloul, whose family, particularly her brave sister Loujain, have gone through hell under the leadership of MBS.
Thank you @aalodah and @MideastDC for your gracious invitation.
A group that claims to champion inclusion (but blames Jews for the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, which is one of the oldest and deadliest forms of anti-Semitism) now wishes to normalize and rationalize the use of a Jim Crow era racist trope against a historic African American national figure in Leader Jeffries. Misleaders divide. Leaders unite. As a constituent, I’m grateful for the inclusive and collaborative leadership of Leader Jeffries.
The New York state Office of Mental Health reconvened the suicide prevention task force to enhance statewide prevention efforts with a renewed focus on helping at-risk populations.

Doubtless this warms the hearts of my colleagues who spent four and a half hours making a 30 mile commute. Those who lost their cars in the flood will deem it all worth it after this.
By refusing to respect a free and fair election, and by vilifying an elected chapter leader, UFT leadership follows in the anti-democratic footsteps of Michael Bloomberg, Kari Lake, and Donald Trump. https://t.co/yltDkCPv5S
So depressing to read this and know that our @UFT leadership fights to save money for @NYCMayor at there expense of our health, takes a raise that's one-third inflation, and claims we've won.
Meet Marty Decole “Cole” Wagner. He is the former chairman of an Alabama Anti-abortion group, “Alliance for a Pro-Life Alabama” and was until recently employed by the Alabama State Department of Education.
He always emphasized the need to protect the lives of embryos, fetuses, and children.
Wagner was just indicted last month on charges of sexual abuse of a child who was under the age of 10.
Wagner has been freed on $60,000 bond and only faces between 2 - 20 years in prison.
It's hypocrisy like this that drives me insane.
How much time in prison should this guy get?
