4th anniv of Purple Kiss which means it’s been roughly 4 years since I’ve met them and I’m so happy that it has happened in this timeline. I’ll just start reminiscing a bit.

@in2khblue Yeah same. I feel lucky to actually have something physical of them (I got their poca album too). It just feels uncertain now.

Suddenly thought of nxd and went through their bstage again (cause that's the only thing they have left i guess). No trace of the attack on global era or their existence whatsoever. I just hope if they're not training they're going to university or just doing well.

No one talks about purple kiss lore really but if you follow closely, they have a recurring theme of hide and seek, witches who hid but want to finally be seen. In their last official comeback, they had a song called lost and found. I wonder if they were finally found.

A bittersweet (!) ending. The witches finally went out in the world but it was not what they expected. They became people who often go unnoticed, but I like to think they look fondly of who they were (as witches and as purple kiss) and look forward to who they are and will be.

Sweet Nightmare, Twinkle, So Far So Good, JOAH, Mistake, Lost and Found, even their last song Breath and many more songs are like masterpieces with no videos to show for. They have the right amount of youthful hope and honesty in their music.

On a positive note, moving away from kpop felt so freeing. SO much less drama and I have more time to do things that matter. I've been listening to a lot of local artists again which I have been doing anyways before. No pressure and only love for music.

It's just unfortunate to think that a lot of people would have gone their lives without ever hearing purple kiss songs. They say a lot of kpop music sound manufactured, but I say that you could feel and hear the sincerity in purple kiss songs in both how they wrote and sang it.

In 2024, I had a dream about a group of 5 boys performing in schools and stages around the world, held concerts, busking, had a tv show and were preparing for their debut. They were really good. No trace of all that stuff though. Must have been the wind. 😕

Come to think of it it's been 3 years since she left that's almost enough time to have a few more units to finish university depending on their curriculum if she studied full time. I can't believe it's that long time.
