Bob is gonna be 38 by November and his last 3 years havent been good outside of 2 hot stretches in the playoffs. Hes maybe got 1 more year as a 1b starter the rest is as a backup / starter on an awful team.

@FanMontanaro If he takes a step back its already a good deal. Dobes advanced stats were basically unmatched by any goalie in the nhl last year if he regressed to being a 75th percentile goalie a 24% fall thats still good value for that play

@NylanderForHart Demidov signed cheap dobes also signed to a pretty nice deal there is more risk on that one because of the smaller sample size but its only 3 years so not worried.
