There is a group of people who have been captured, even hypnotized, by the idea that they must rid themselves of the sin of “whiteness.”
The attempts to wash this “sin” from themselves involves a great deal of self-flagellation.
- Apologizing for being white.
- Allowing others to push them around.
- Allowing behavior that takes citizenry rights from them.
- Entertaining submission to cultures and political beliefs that would take property, income, and both human and civil freedoms from them.
- Entertaining cultures and laws that verbalize the desire to eliminate them.
The trouble with this escalation of self-flagellation, is that after they draw their last breath, and even possibly sacrifice their own life, they still will not have rid themselves of that perceived “sin” of being white, because even in death, they will still be white.
There are many reasons some people assume themselves to be bad people and desire to be punished into redemption, but the color of your skin is a flimsy reason, at best.
Not to change the subject from burritos but when I was earning poverty wages in my 20s I used to go to Subway nearly every day and get a footlong Italian sub for 5 dollars. It was generally the only big meal I would eat in a day.
If I was hungry later at night, I could always swing by McDonald’s and grab a chicken sandwich for a dollar.
All of these people are screaming about “eating at home” but I basically never made meals at home in those days and I was able to get by. You used to be able to survive on low wages without making meals from scratch. If that’s not possible anymore then it’s a sign that our standard of living is declining. That’s a problem. You should care about that.
Anyway, I went to a Subway recently and that same sandwich was 13 dollars. McDonald’s, of course, doesn’t sell anything for a dollar anymore.
A lot of commentators and people in media and podcasters and politicians have never actually had to worry about how they would afford groceries. They've never had an overdrawn checking account. They've never been hassled by a landlord because their rent is overdo. They've never had their cell service cut off because they couldn't pay it. They've never had to put two gallons in their tank because they couldn't afford to fill it all the way up. They've never had a car break down because they couldn't afford to take it to the mechanic. I'm not one to talk about "lived experience" (which is a term I hate) but I do think that actually experiencing the stress and indignity of not being able to afford to participate in modern life is extremely clarifying, and gives you a perspective that sticks with you even after you achieve financial success. I think this is one of the dividing lines in the affordability debate. People who are flippant about affordability concerns obviously lack the perspective that being broke gives you.
Left, Right, or Center.
Its time to come together and show them we will not let them trample on our rights.
We can all go back to our corners after we were done.

RFK Jr. says HHS loses $100,000,000,000 a year to theft.
He found some thieves would bribe poor people with flat screen TVs to get their patient numbers and enroll them in hospice.
Then they would proceed to bill Medicaid "$6,000 a month FOREVER."
RFK JR: "We shut down 800 hospices. You know what a hospice is? Where you're going to die. Typically, if you go to a hospice, you leave within 18 days because your dying is terminal."
"We started looking at these hospices in Los Angeles, and the people never died. Two or three years later they were there, and we're paying $6,000 a month."
"We found a hotel room with 29 hospices in it. I mean a hotel, every room was a hospice, and none of them had any patients. They were just addresses."
"The guys who own them, they were Estonians and Armenians and people from Eastern Europe who were getting the patient numbers. They were stealing them from doctors' offices."
"They were also going into poor neighborhoods in Los Angeles and they'd say to the people, 'We'll give you this $375 flat-screen TV. You give us your patient number and we're going to enroll you in this hospice. You don't ever have to go. We're just going to enroll you,' and then we'll charge Medicaid $6,000 a month forever. And the guy never dies, of course, because he was never sick."
"We didn't get a single call from a congressman or from a business owner saying, 'Oh, you shut down my hospice and all these patients are on the street.' None of them, because they were all crooked and they knew they were crooked."
And to think we in Milwaukee still have to get emissions tests on our cars. Clean air, you know. In the meantime Canada dive bombs the whole midwest with a blast furnace of soot. I haven't opened a door or a window in hours and my air purifier is still freaking out
These people are ridiculous.
They have lost all tethers to a sense of self. Their entire identity now relies on this treasonous hate of America. They make up fantasies of how horrible America never was to justify their need to "fight tyranny." They have no identity but this. And they cling to it with a death grip, because they have nothing else.
None of it is true. Not the fantasy about America about which she is shrieking, not her identity of believing herself to be some "hero" in a movie about an oppressive government, and not the resulting congress-free, senate-free, President-free, childish (and completely chaotic) future she sees for this country.
She is an infant.
She and others like her will not get their way. Not even close. If you have a modicum of common sense, it's time to let your line in the sand about tolerance be made known.
Myself, I have a limit to tolerance.
I have a limit to patience.
I know there is a limit to free speech.
If your plan is to tear down the United States of America, if your plan is treason, I will not tolerate you, I will have zero patience for you, and I will not defend your right to free speech.

You must love your country the way you love your child. Unconditional love. You make sure they play by the rules. But no matter what, you love them with your whole heart, you wake up every day thinking about how to be of service to them, and you would die to protect them.
You know how advertising works. If you are selling a product that no one really wants, you must create a need that only you can fill.
If you are selling deodorant to people who don’t really smell, you must convince them they smell, so you can sell them your “solution” of deodorant.
If you are selling control and the ripping away of people’s rights, you must convince those people they are so unhappy that they will want your “solution” of dominance.
Both sales pitches are lies. The first costs you money for an unnecessary product. The second steals your rights and the enjoyment of the life you’ve got.
Don’t believe the lies.
See the look on the Wiener guy's face? That's the realization that his Frankenstein ain't going back in the grave.
Every communist revolutionary thinks they'll have a seat at the table of power...in reality, they're always the first against the wall.
Dr Drew absolutely loses it over the Hantavirus hype !!
‘It’s not a respiratory virus. Stop it. Stop it now….its been around a long time’
One has a greater chance of being struck by lightening.
We are not doing this again.
I used to think this ending was unrealistic
why would anyone just throw away $1,000,000s of dollar worth of their children and grandchildren’s inheritance for a brief moment of relief
then i learned about boomers and it all made sense
