Here are the NO votes on HB3018 in Senate Judiciary yesterday. No discussion, no amendments to put in a floor for the age of marriage....nothing...just a no vote.

BREAKING: Republicans in West Virginia just voted to reject a bill that would make it illegal for 16-year-olds to get married. It also remains legal for adults of any age to have sex with a 16-year-old, and for married men to have sex with children under 16-years-old as long as a judge approves a marriage.

There have been marriages of 14-year-old children in the state over the past decade.

I'm tired of Republicans calling Democrats "groomers" when they are literally supporting adults of any age having sex with 16 year old children and in some cases even younger.
