Have you seen the signage around campus? Whether you're attending in-person or from a distance, we are taking every measure to ensure our Texans have a great semester!
@PawPrintsFW By posting engaging in a different way with polls or purchasing links that direct to the organizations website! Both ways can keep the audience engaged and not just liking a picture.

@PawPrintsFW A lot of older people aren’t as involved on instagram which in my opinion makes up most rural communities. Because of this Instagram might not be the best social media platform.

@PawPrintsFW It could show how diverse different rural communities are. By posting pictures and stories, rural communities can show what specific needs they have!

@emtxst05 I’m not sure if pages can post stories on Facebook, but if possible utilizing the new feature could add an extra fun aspect to your page.

@emtxst05 A2-I would focus on gearing the marketing campaign to a certain audience to ensure your reaching people who care about your message or cause. When starting small, creating an image and gaining the right followers is important.

@HadleyButler16 This idea could really generate content and be a great way to engage the community. In agriculture, we are so focused on science that having a contest about who can share the truth in a fun way is super creative.

@drjtedwards Q4 - One thing to keep in mind is that "rural" doesn't just mean small. Rural is the type of community. It can be a town that is less than 1,000 people or more than 10,000. Each one is rural based on the resources the town has in my opinion.

@drjtedwards Q3 - Not necessarily. Just because you are from a rural area doesn't mean you have any less access to certain services. Sure, there are not as many opportunities or businesses, but it comes with living in a rural area.

@drjtedwards Q2 - There are so many different definitions for rural because it is such a broad term. Rural could be Fredricksburg which has around 11,000 people to place like my hometown Hico that has around 1,300 people.

@drjtedwards The first assumption I make is what type of "rural area" is he or she from. Growing up I was from a small town and learned that every small town is different.
