Whether you’re celebrating Passover or just passing by, lend an ear to the team @BonjourChai and those of us who had a seat at the Great Canadian Seder.
Bliss is when a picture book team (moi and @barbreidart) connect with a librarian like @msgallant_TL. Her one-on-one rapport with her students is inspiring, as is their wonderful #ILoveYouMore artwork.
Kelly was her usual thoughtful, honest, caring, giving self during the Q-and-As after each reading. I don’t have a quick fix for repairing this broken, beautiful planet of ours but this I know: the world needs more Kellys. Many more. And soon.
A beautiful morning with Author @emilsher learning all about the process that goes into writing and illustrating a picture book! 📚 @MQWSchool#ILoveYouMore ♥️
Introducing Ella from Beachy Cove Elementary. Ella loves books. Ella is binging on the Hardy Boys. So what was a week of visits to Newfoundland schools and libraries during Canadian Children's Book Week all about? An opportunity to celebrate the Ellas of the world. @scholasticCDA
Our K-3 students also enjoyed a presentation with @emilsher! He told us all about making and publishing “I Love You More”, and had a special message from @barbreidart ! Our future authors loved it more than libraries love books! @StBonaventures#CanadianBookWeek @NLPubLibraries
The pen is mightier than the sword, and sometimes a bullied teen's photographs can deflect razor-sharp taunts. It's gratifying to see a novel spark conversations, and to watch students stoke them.

We were so fortunate to have author @emilsher with us as a part of #CanadianBookWeek. Emil shared his novel “Young Man with Camera”. He discussed the theme of “there’s more than meets the eye” with our Gr. 6 and Gr. 7 students. We thoroughly enjoyed his insight! @StBonaventures
Some of the paper hearts were worse for wear by the time Friday rolled around during Canadian Children's Book Week. Thankfully, mine's not made of paper. And it's full. Thank you @StBonaventures, and all the schools that were so welcoming.

We loved it more than the moon loves the stars. Special thanks to @emilsher for visiting us this morning. Thanks to @barbreidart for your video message. @StBonaventures
