Wanted so badly to like this film. Love both main actors and Leanna Morgan was hilarious. Parts were okay - then it got simultaneously cringy and dull. I hate forced romantic chemistry. 3/10 #YoureCordiallyInvited
@CinemaRareIN@PrimeVideoIN@AmazonMGMStudio Deeply cringy. Disappointed Witherspoon and Farrell would agree to do it. Chemistry is NILL. Was so excited for it, too. Thanks for the effort - but it missed the mark. (Leanne Morgan was great, tho.)
@dunkindonuts just opened in ABQ airport! (Which is great) Wouldn’t honor posted $6 menu item - saying corporate needed to change menu. (Not impressed) #HonorUntilChanged

"...I know this is a harmful practice, but the hierarchical nature of academic medicine and white fragility don’t lend themselves to safe, honest conversations about racism."
We have GOT to build our racial stamina.
Here's what this Black medical student wants to tell her white professors when they ask her, "How are you doing today?" https://t.co/7trLjuCJFZ via @HuffPost
So much of history has been whitewashed for the sake of making it palatable for white consumption that we are starting to perpetuate things that are not only misconceptions, but outright lies.
A lot of what you're told about protests, MLK, etc. is wrong.
A thread.
White people:
We gotta talk about burn out. You aren’t conditioned to be thinking about race this much because of your privilege. We need you to do all you’re doing today, tomorrow, and until the end of time.
Let’s talk about ways to focus on current & systemic change.
👇🏽
In our @MBK_Alliance town hall yesterday, I mentioned James Baldwin's The Fire Next Time. From 1962, it remains a seminal meditation on race by one of our greatest writers and relevant for understanding the pain and anger behind the protests. Excerpt: https://t.co/50F9ZP3JhQ
In this video @DenverPolice appear to shoot pepper balls at a car to move traffic. The man gets out to tell police that his girlfriend is pregnant in the car, and they keep shooting.
He isn’t a threat, or even a protestor. We need police reform now.
