Pope Leo: "Someone who says 'I'm against abortion', but is in favor of the death penalty, is not really pro-life. Someone who says 'I'm against abortion, but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants who are in the United States', I don't know if that's pro-life."
i somehow never realized that you’re just awake for like 16+ hours while giving birth, and then once you’re done with this incredibly taxing endeavor, you’re handed a baby that needs to eat every 3 hours.

This has been normalized as a profession, and it can't go on.
The casualness with which people are scheduling meetings for next week as if we're not going to be in a fugue state for multiple days just trying to survive is alarming to me.
how dare you call America a sexist country when a competent qualified woman with no scandals is running tied with a convicted sex predator who attempted a coup on live TV
the reason i think about this stuff a lot is because when i hear "children aren't reading" or "children aren't playing outside" or "children aren't socializing well with others", my first thought is always ADULTS generally aren't doing that. how could children be doing it? 🤣😂
I've never met a teacher who would deny students phonics knowledge. I have, however, met teachers who would deny students access to books.
If your advocacy is based on restricting rather than expanding literacy opportunities maybe it's not the other side in need of balance
