@charlotteirene8 Hmm, but Triton also doesn’t want Ariel around humans because they’re dangerous. Humans are destroying the ocean, killing the animals who are Triton’s subjects. Ariel is obsessing over colonizers stripping her home of resources. From that lens, I’d end my kid’s Nazi hobby too 😂

Somehow I have won my husband @jpaul_ortiz over & convinced him we need to go wild on the apartment walls, so now we’re 8 hours into a rainforest mural. 😍

Since a few people have asked: the reason I’ve mostly gone silent on social is 60% pandemic-related news fatigue & 40% the fact that I’m interning for a judge (yay!!) and it’s easier to follow the strict judicial ethics rules about appearance of bias if I stay offline entirely.

We’re watching #TheLastAirbender and JP just noticed that if you listen closely to the forest soundtrack they use in the background, it’s clearly a rainforest soundtrack. You can hear toucans calling to each other. So apparently there are toucans in the Avatar world 😂
