This exactly. And the messaging from the candidate and campaign reinforces this experience for me when they point out he’s been fighting the same fight, hasn’t changed his stance in decades. A campaign with no capacity for change or dissent is not for me.

What troubles me about the Sanders campaign now is the same as what pushed me away after supporting him in ‘16: in my experience, there is no room for dissent. There is no saying, “I agree 95% but I feel left out here” - and if you do, you’re an enemy. I hope that changes.
