•Signed a mail ballot law that got Black voters rejected at far higher rates than white voters

•Pushed a voter ID law struck down as racially discriminatory by one of the most conservative appeals courts in the country

•Redrew our congressional map and eliminated a Black district in Houston

•Ended race conscious hiring at state agencies and universities

•Appointed the guy who killed the state’s minority owned business certification program

•Refuses to expand Medicaid, leaving over a million low income Texans, mostly Black and Hispanic, without health insurance

•Banned schools from teaching about institutional racism

•Pardoned a bigot who murdered a Black activist, but wouldn’t give George Floyd a posthumous pardon even after his own Parole Board recommended it

•Left TX-18, a historically Black district, without a voice in Congress for nearly a year

•Sued by the NAACP over voting restrictions again and again.
