On a recent trip to the beach, I found a piece of sea shell that reminded me of a co-worker (and fellow writer) who hates commas.
I’m bringing the shell in to work for her today. 🤣
The MV Hyundai Hope called the #Port of #Savanah for the first time today. The vessel has a capacity of 13,100 twenty-foot equivalent container units and measures more than 1,200 feet long. Crews expect to handle more than 3,000 lifts using four cranes during her time in port.

COVID-19 is acceptable on first reference for the coronavirus disease that first appeared in late 2019.
Because COVID-19 is the name of the disease, not the virus, it is not accurate to write a new virus called COVID-19. Instead: A new virus caused a disease called COVID-19.
