I found #SoundofMetal very thought provoking. As a #deafened person with a #cochlearimplant I got @rizwanahmed ‘s character and his trauma. It was hard watching but I wasn’t sure why implants were presented as such a negative choice.

It’s the accessibility in terms of my deafness I need to know about. Just wondering if anyone had done a course and knew that online content was subtitled.

Most have online content, but because I am deaf with a cochlear implant I need online lectures, films etc to be accurately subtitled. When researching the courses, it’s not clear if they are accessible to me.

@SchoolDuggery The community comp I work in offers 3 languages, including mandarin, as well as music, music tech, drama, art and photography- as well as a choice of humanities.

Haven’t been on here for ages. Felt too overwhelmed and tired by just doing school and SENDCo stuff to come on here and read even more. But survived winter, assignment 2 is well underway and a week into the holiday, time to breathe.
