"Every time you think of calling a kid 'attention-seeking' this year, consider changing it to 'connection-seeking' and see how your perspective changes." Powerful thought from @JodyCarrington
We all make mistakes and that is human nature. However, Taking ownership and repairing the harm is key. Love these questions when guiding students to repair the harm they created!

You’re gonna make mistakes this year. That’s ok... you’ll learn from them. They’ll make you better. Don’t be afraid of the mistakes; embrace the process.
LEADERS! School is starting! It’s hard to take care of kids when we don’t have time to take care of each other. The most important thing to get ready in classrooms IS THE ADULT IN THAT SPACE. Give them opportunities to connect with colleagues. #1minwalk2work#leadfromwhereyouare

@KlKellno1@bensimmons_edu Maybe we could have 2 lunchrooms someday. I know plenty of kids that would enjoy that one. But whenever kids eat in my room, some always enjoy the actual quiet. Maybe one fun lunchroom and one quiet one?!
