I saw the Elizabeth Holmes documentary 'You Can See Everything' last night.
Everyone's debating whether she's a liar. That's not the story.
The film is deceiving you in real time & most of you won't notice.

@emeraldrubii@Dread_Botlord It seems possible that Holmes’ negative formative experiences (possibly traumatic experiences) have atrophied her trust in her own judgment to a point where she recognizes a deficiency and tries to outsource self-reliance by finding a strong protector.
@emeraldrubii@Dread_Botlord It’s not obvious to me whether Elizabeth Holmes is manipulating Nathan Fielder, but her choice of protective partners is coherent with a view of the world as unsafe and untrustworthy.
Strange things happen to creativity at dusk and dawn, hence so many writers work in the early morning or late at night. The edges of the day are thin places, the conscious mind is not fully awake and the subconscious can bleed through, Arthur Koestler called it "the marshy shore"

that smile as we spoon
their eyes of melted butter.

But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.

you could take up the
tattered shadows off
the grass. Roll them
and stow them. And collect
the shimmerings in a
cup, like the coffee
here at my right hand.
