This is 27-year-old Crimean Tatar Mamut Belyalov. The FSB continues to torture him.

After 8 months of torture in a Simferopol detention center, russian authorities slapped him with a new “high treason” charge. This is already the second fabricated case against him.

Mamut was abducted on September 10, 2022 — he was just 24. He was tortured with electric shocks, brutally beaten, threatened with rape, and told videos would be published online. Under torture, he was forced to “confess” to plotting an assassination attempt against russian “tourism minister” Vadim Volchenko.

There is no evidence against him except a confession extracted under torture.

In 2024, an occupation “court” sentenced him to 12 years in a maximum-security prison colony. Later, the term was “reduced” to 11.5 years.

But instead of leaving him in a prison colony in Volgograd, they transferred him back to Simferopol. For the past 8 months, he has been held almost completely without contact with his family, subjected to constant interrogations without a lawyer, beatings, and psychological pressure.

Now the FSB is terrorizing his entire family — summoning them for “meetings,” filming them, and asking provocative questions about Ukraine and the war.

This is classic russian terror against Crimean Tatars.

This is occupation.
