Damn GOP tacking unrelated riders to the budget. They are allegedly trying to find a way to repeal it.
That being said, the law only prohibits government money from BUYING said flags. So we need to get the staff at the embassies to buy the flags and fly them anyway!

@YourGaynezz And even SDs need to be taken offline to have breaks with places like conventions! It’s a lot for them to handle, even when they’ve been socialized to it.
@RedWingsPheonix @YourGaynezz This is true but someone’s allergies can’t prevent someone from bringing their legitimate SD into a public or shared space.
@RDW_Heather @YourGaynezz Yep! I spent $1000s on rehabilitation for my SD when she was attacked, more than once, by alleged service dogs. And I don’t mean oh that dog looked at her and sniffed her. The only ones that really shook my girl were the ones where teeth were involved, or the one that FLIPPED HER
@YourGaynezz @milkssquared I can’t speak for all cons but some of them, especially if they aren’t buying out ALL of the hotel space and rooms, have to follow the hotel’s rules. I’ve been at events with my SD where it was pet friendly and I saw SO MUCH shenanigans.
@hannahcrileyy A lot of vets don’t keep collars on their in-patients so they can’t get it caught on the cage or their IVs etc. they will slip lead them when they take them out.

@ohjasminee @naughtyautty2 I had this turmoil when I visited in Massachusetts last December. My rough collie got spooked and omg I was so glad that I got her metal collar buckle engraved - she had her leash on and the d-ring of her collar came off, so the hanging dog tag was gone and off within 30minutes.
@hannahcrileyy @ThisBarbara @KestrelMontague Sometimes they’re in a hurry and if the chip isn’t universal and their scanner doesn’t read it, it’ll get missed. Chips are also notorious for migrating. I had a cat whose chip was on the back of its elbow. If you can have boots on the ground checking the shelters, please do

@hannahcrileyy I had the same problem when my girl Cider got loose (she spooked and bolted, took the leash with her) so sorry you have scammers trying to exploit you at such a vulnerable time
