There’s a certain patient every physician recognizes immediately. Not from the chart, though the chart is usually encyclopedic. Not from the chief complaint, which is often vague, shifting, or impossibly broad. You recognize them from the pattern.

@EMHighAK Maybe the problem is too many residency spots? Corporate residencies expanded at an outrageous and unprecedented rate. Many of them provide subpar training. We did this to ourselves.
