He isn’t here because of some accident of birth; he chose this country because it was a beacon of hope. We are less as a nation for deporting people like him.

Last year the Trump admin made a startling claim; that a 1996 law had, unbeknownst to anyone for the last 30 years, mandated the detention without bond of millions of undocumented immigrants.
