Oh… so we’re at the part of the genocide where the “undesirable” racial and ethnic group is publicly marked and forced to live under the constant threat of becoming a stateless person (or worse).
Moises is 7 years old. He was expected to defend himself in deportation proceedings with no lawyer, answering questions he barely understood in a language he barely speaks.
This is what immigration court looks like for thousands of children under the Trump administration.
Good sentiment but there continues to be widespread confusion about why Haitians have TPS.
Only about 50,000 Haitians got TPS in 2010 & 2011 due to the earthquake.
300,000 people newly got TPS in 2021, 2023, and 2024 due to the post-Möise assassination government collapse.
Basically every day there is a story about ICE arresting and jailing someone who has filed an application for a status for which they clearly qualify, but @USCISJoe is not processing. Joseph Edlow should be impeached.
@dutchessprim@NotHoodlum Hunter Biden strongly insinuated that Stephen Miller is gay. If that’s the case, he’s probably more than happy to let someone else tend to his wife.
You can quibble over paperwork and terminology all you want, but none of your quibbling will change the fact that this man and so many others we are cruelly deporting probably love this country more than any native born citizen. He isn’t here because of some accident of birth; he chose this country because it was a beacon of hope. We are less as a nation for deporting people like him.
Congratulations America - great work killing off vulnerable people who chose this country because it was a land of opportunity and a beacon of hope. Emphasis on “was.” We are diminished as a nation, perhaps permanently by this needless carnage. America is no longer great.

Last year the Trump admin made a startling claim; that a 1996 law had, unbeknownst to anyone for the last 30 years, mandated the detention without bond of millions of undocumented immigrants.
The resulting chaos has drowned federal courts, overwhelmed the DOJ, and spread misery.
NEW: We’ve spent a year tracking ICE’s massive expansion of detention for people with years-long ties to the U.S. It has strained courts, wrecked lives and been widely deemed illegal.

The man who treats Medical Emergencies at Delaney Hall was told by a man released who had blood shot eyes & shackle marks that Edwin Lopez Cornejo died at the detention center & that yesterday a man had a cardiac arrest & another had a CVA & seizure & the guards laughed at him.
