I am done with this platform. I am "followed" by a whole bunch of "people" who are not actually human, so it is time to leave this place. Keep up with me at Instagram/ Facebook, if you are still interested in what is going on at musictherapyworks - I'll keep blogging.
My therapeutic music experience (TME) database is a never-ending project that is always lurking out there, just waiting for me to keep plugging away at it...

I am getting back into the mode of "therapist." Here's a bit of what my job looks like. What do you do in this profession of ours?

Day five of the first eight days of school for this semester - I am going back to work after yet another inclement weather day. I am more than ready to be "therapist" again.

It is time for an internship hiatus, and I am ready. One of the things that I am wrestling with right now is whether I continue or not.

This was a difficult letter to write, but this is not an easy thing to contemplate. I am struggling with finding the benefits to staying in a relationship with AMTA.

Mother Nature completely rearranged my plans for today, but that's okay. Here's what I have found to be a time-saver when I have to write therapeutic music experiences (TMEs).

Today, I am preparing for an inclement weather day while trying to get the intern all the hours that are required to graduate from the program!! https://t.co/Q9N84rN7Ai
Today is a happy and sad day for my family. Bear with me as I deviate from my usual Sunday post to remember and to celebrate and get prepared for the near future.

Day one was productive. Day two is now starting and needs to be just as productive so I can head into day three. (Lots of pictures of my recent journaling in the post, too!)

It is the first day of my winter break, so it is time to start thinking deeply about educational policies and how they affect music therapy students and interns (of course!). Also, a peek at the journal that I made for myself...

I don't know about you, but I find it difficult to change my routine during the holidays. I also feel that my students do better in music therapy when I stick to my established routine in the music therapy session. Thoughts about all of this here.
