@Twolfrecovery No. NO ONE gets sober because they have to. Forced abstinence does not constitute recovery. Now for drug induced psychosis? Yes. If someone is not oriented to person, place, time, and event, they are unable to make their own decisions. To leave them on the street is neglect.
