@PNemeth72 @Irenaeus1969 Whilst we specialise in drawing and painting, we also teach printing in Yr9 (1st yr GCSE), and during holiday workshops for KS3/4. We have facilities for ceramics and intend to deliver during summer workshops. Chose mastery over experience with limited time

A-level paintings from a stdnt who left St.M’s last yr. Studying predominantly portraiture certainly hasn’t hindered his ability to beautify observe other subs. Confident application of media, knowledge of composition and understanding of light.Transferable knowledge and skill.

@LouiseClazey @Irenaeus1969 Thnk you 😊 Feedback from our stdnts is positive. They love portraiture and achieving recognisable outcomes. A difficult and controversial decision to specialise but wanted give challenge while allowing stdnts to create personal,meaningful,emotive responses.

As you will know, your brain is constantly observing, analysing, recalling. Plentiful of opportunity to develop understanding of the world around them through teaching, discussions, investigations & gallery trips

Once confident and able, they develop their own personal, meaningful ideas. Working from their own photographs, they create original pieces of artwork.
