A huge part of Occupational therapy is affirming our clients that they are enough & that their efforts are seen! This is essential to build self efficacy, motivation, & to reach goals.

No one tells you how rewarding it is when a client affirms you. A client said to me “you are going to make a good OT” & another called me after a session to thank me for “actually listening” to them and that they feel “so much better”. I feel like a difference maker 🥹
