Okay, listen.
Since 80% of you don't seem to understand why Bitcoin accumulation actually matters, let me explain it in simple terms.
Most people say:
"It doesn't matter who owns the Bitcoin. In the end, users decide what Bitcoin is."
That's only partially true.
The screenshot below is from the official IBIT iShares Bitcoin Trust documentation.
It explicitly states that shareholders have no right to receive forked coins or airdrops.
That means if Bitcoin hard forks and BlackRock decides to support Bitcoin A, IBIT holders will only have exposure to Bitcoin A through the ETF. They have no claim to Bitcoin B, even if a large part of the community considers Bitcoin B to be the legitimate continuation of Bitcoin.
The same applies to Strategy.
If Bitcoin hard forks, Strategy is under no obligation to support both chains. Management decides how to treat any assets resulting from the fork.
Together, BlackRock and Strategy already control roughly 1.6 million BTC.
Now imagine both companies support Bitcoin A while the community supports Bitcoin B.
If they also controlled the forked coins on Bitcoin B and decided to sell them, they could exert enormous downward pressure on that market.
Would they automatically win?
No.
Bitcoin is ultimately defined by the broader ecosystem of users, node operators, exchanges, wallets, miners and developers.
But anyone who thinks 1.6 million BTC cannot significantly influence the outcome of a contentious hard fork doesn't understand how markets work.
The point isn't that BlackRock or Strategy will do this.
The point is that the growing concentration of Bitcoin ownership creates a governance risk that far too many people ignore.

A few thoughts about BIP-110 🧵 I've been vocal about spam for years. I agree with BIP-110's motivation and rationales. Disclaimer: I'm not deep into Bitcoin script internals, so I may have misunderstood some details of the proposal's effects.
Have we actually discovered the theoretically simplest way to make truly secure Bitcoin self-custody possible for blind people?
Yesterday, @Schoggiherz shared her experiences living as a blind person during our meetup at @kaninchenbau21. We dove into a fascinating discussion on how to design a hardware wallet that's accessible for the blind. It quickly became clear that the @SpecterDIY project is the ideal foundation for this.
We brainstormed and agreed on some key features:
- A large touchscreen is perfect for tactile navigation.
- Utilize the built-in headphone jack on the Disco Board for audio feedback.
- Simple controls: Single click to have info read aloud, double click to confirm/input.
- For verifying Bitcoin addresses, sync it with a desktop or smartphone so you hear 4 characters at a time from both devices until the full address is confirmed.
We didn't explicitly cover these, but they'd be huge advantages:
- Store the seed phrase on a smartcard.
- The smartcard could serve as an excellent backup for blind users —> no need to write down or read the seed phrase visually.
->Support for multiple encrypted backups.
The biggest challenges with @SpecterDIY? Limited RAM and storage space for audio snippets. But I think we can work around that—maybe by not integrating it into the main firmware, but as a fork or addon to avoid bloating the core software.
Otherwise, Specter is spot-on: It's open-source, can be sold worldwide by anyone, and incredibly simple to produce. Theoretically, you just flash the firmware onto a Disco Board, and you're good to go. An implementation like this could instantly provide blind people around the world with an accessible hardware wallet, without any monopoly controlling it.
Imagine how easily we could achieve global inclusion in the Bitcoin ecosystem—empowering blind individuals to self-custody their BTC sovereignly.
@BlindUnion@IAPB1@ICEVIglobal@OrbisIntl@Sightsavers@cbmWorldwide@PerkinsVision@BeMyEyes ... Specter is a non-profit organisation funded purely by donations and powered by volunteer developers. Would you consider supporting the development of a blind-accessible hardware wallet financially?
A very dark scenario that is playing out:
The Elite have been able to centralize wealth on top using money printing. Top 1% owns 50% of global wealth. They can centralize it more in the future using money printing.
If Bitcoin gets global adoption this won’t be possible because wealth would distribute over time to those that work hard.
They know this so they want Bitcoin adoption to be low until AI and robots have taken our jobs. After that there are no people that can work hard to earn their bitcoins. They already own the companies that are making the AI and robots too they will be working for free for The Elite.
Therefore we need to gain global Bitcoin adoption many years before AI and robots takes our jobs to be able to distribute enough wealth across the population.
Hard money is our only escape from eternal slavery. Tell your friends, family and everyone you can. This is about our children’s future. This is our final battle against the elite!
“You think, I dare say, that our chief job is inventing new words. But not a bit of it! We're destroying words–scores of them, hundreds of them, every day. We're cutting the language down to the bone." -1984
Look how the Core™ spam whores distort words to dishonestly deliver their points. Private property is now "distributed authoritarianism." Abuse of the #bitcoin network is now a "valid use case."
The destruction of language is not just about simplification but about erasing the concepts themselves, making the past and truth fluid and ensuring the Party is always right.
Deprecate Core™. Run @BitcoinKnots
Feb2023 - Bitcoin Core changed the documentation in secret to prevent fixing a bug that helps spammers (see link). They basically changed the rules to reject @LukeDashjr 's pull request to fix it.
And now they're pushing another change which is related to it as a default on all Bitcoin Core users.
The defenders of Bitcoin Core are calling Luke dasher the one that you can't trust.
But it's not even a Bitcoin Core versus Luke dashjr argument it's a Bitcoin Core maintainers (small team of 5 in power) fucked up and is probably infiltrated/incentivised by spammers and shitcoiners argument.
Anyone spending a lot of time arguing for Core in the name of eduCAtIOn, is highly suspect, and it's clear they all speak in fallacies. I'm keeping records, and so far I've seen nothing to the contrary.

🚨👀Correct me if I’m wrong, but if their Bitcoin reserves come only from confiscated coins and they never plan to sell… where do you think that “confiscated” Bitcoin will come from? Here’s a clue:
ETFs
Centralized exchanges
Third-party custodians
Anything else I missed
They’re telling you the plan outright. If your Bitcoin isn’t in self-custody, you’re next.
