This is one reason human biodiversity is such a big deal.
It would behoove people of European and Asian descent to understand that equatorial peoples did NOT (with exceptions) evolve forward-thinking.

Homo sapiens originated as a tropical species. That's where our food is plentiful and life is easy (if you're not facing disease, predators, or war at the time).

Living outside the tropics is HARD for us. We risk freezing or starving to death EVERY YEAR. For those lineages that migrated north, our brains adapted before our bodies did. We evolved to plan for the future.

The ones that DID NOT leave DID NOT! There was no evolutionary impetus! They did not need to plan for winter. They did not need to develop agriculture or animal husbandry (again, exceptions such as desert-dwellers) and plan around their cyclic nature. They only needed to work when hungry, only enough to sate their hunger, and migrate when food in the area became scarce.

That brings us to the modern day, where over and over we're shocked when the descendents of the same people fail to anticipate or understand the consequences of their actions.
Of course they do! The past and future barely register for them! They live in an eternal 'today'. The smartest ones can consciously overcome this, but the vast majority do not even think about what comes 'tomorrow', much less a year or more in the future.

This is why 'Haitians' slaughtered the French and now live in squalor eating mud cookies.
This is why 'Bantu' are running South Africa back into the dirt while looting the only remaining productive people in their country.
This is why 'starving Africans' remain starving no matter how much help we give them.
This is why 'refugees' create the exact same circumstances that led them to leave their home country.

You cannot trust YOUR future to people who don't even plan for THEIR OWN future!
