Of all the things we need in this hospital, I’m really glad they decided an automatic paper towel dispenser and new toilet roll holders were the way to go.
I just worked over 15 hours, our EMS crews work 24+. We have 27 holds in a 17 bed ER with only 4 nurses after I left. The floors meet capacity but the ER can’t just shut down, I just want to brag on my people for being so amazing.
Wyatt: “Why am I not getting gas?? Come on burrito I need to fart on Emma and daddy before we go to bed!!” I’m glad I was built to put up with boys. 🤦🏻♀️
I didn’t wear socks today. So I had to walk through airport security barefoot and the look on Lucas’s face when he saw me was still the proudest face. Like that’s my little dumbass.
ONLY 5 ICU BEDS LEFT
COVID-19 cases are having an impact on East Tennessee hospitals.
Right now, the Knox Co. Health Dept. reports only 5 available ICU beds across the East Tennessee region.
Hospitals say almost all their COVID patients are unvaccinated.
More to come @wbir.
Covid pay being reinstated is alright, but it doesn’t make it any better when you’re holding a patient that is smothering trying to give them false reassurance.
When I’m asking how bad your pain is from 0-10 and you say 15, you get my speech of “10 is equivalent to having your scrotum ripped off by an alligator, it’s worse than that?” The little old ladies are the ones that laugh the most.
Due to a series of unfortunate events, I had to go barefoot with surgical booties for the last few hours of my shift. I have even more appreciation for comfy shoes now.
