Normally, I'd look at the papers, listen to the radio, or watch the telly to see the reaction to the result of an election. With this one, I don't see the point.
They've made themselves completely irrelevant. They spent the last week saying that the turnout would be at a record low when, in fact, the turnout was higher than the last Presidential election. Haven't yet heard any of them say they got it wrong. Even though their misdiagnosis could easily have led to a self-fulfilling prophecy where people didn't actually turn up to vote.
They repeatedly said that the election was dull and uninteresting. While at the same time asking the same questions on repeat. The only thing dull about this election was how it was covered. It also begs the question that if they all find politics so dull and boring, why dont they go and do a job that they do find interesting. Rather than trying to turn an election into a circus for their own entertainment.

He had called them daily, checking on their well-being and offering comfort and solidarity. He never forgot them—and they will never forget him.
For Katy Perry’s class of people, nothing is at stake and nothing ever has to change, so concepts like empowerment, hope, and resilience have no material reality. They are words for an Instagram caption, lyrics to a song
