@HMRCcustomers Hi Tom, after being on hold for another 47 mins, someone finally takes my call. They go to double-check the issue and put me on hold again. A few minutes later the customer service agent has cut me off... I'm starting to tear my hair out now... Is there another way?
@HMRCcustomers I spent 1hr yesterday on hold, 30 mins on hold this morning, and most of yesterday trying to get through to the online webchat only to be thrown off twice once I submitted my question. Is there an alternative number to call as it is quite frustrating? Thanks so much

@HMRCcustomers I have received a letter stating I owe tax to be paid before May, but when I log onto the Simple Assessment portal mentioned in the letter it says I have paid the right amount of tax and there's nothing to do. I would like to speak to someone to clear this up?
