I fear God more than I fear schism.

The servant in the Parable of the Talents did not squander his master's gift. He buried it. Safely. Quietly. With every intention of returning it intact.

The master called it wickedness.

Burying the Faith to preserve institutional unity or standing is not prudence. Our Lord already ruled on that strategy. The servant did not lose what he was given; he simply refused to risk it. That was enough for condemnation.

We will not be asked how safely we kept the peace. We will be asked what we did with what we were given.
