I need to clarify I’m not trying to attack people who can’t afford to support art or already do, I think there’s a trend these days to undervalue it and not see it as hard work, from really big companies a lot of the time too.

Sometimes I think about the fact that visual art is unique in that unlike literature, film or music, the result of hours/cumulative years of effort is absorbed entirely and done with by an audience in less than a second, for free.
