My money management as someone with ADHD is not always super good. I've been using LOQBOX to both grow my credit score and save at the same time - I've been using it for a few months and 100% would recommend! https://t.co/ItsWm0xXOQ
I’ve recently been accepted for an MSc in Psychology (I intend to focus my research opportunities on women with ADHD). I’m not eligible for a masters student loan. How else can I find funding? I will still be working full time! #askadhd
#teachers with #adhd - I’m in the process of setting up an online peer support group for #adhdteachers. What would you like to see as part of this? What would you find most helpful?
My experience? The higher my income, the easier my ADHD becomes to manage. I wonder if there is an upper limit to this? Or if other people have found the opposite to be true?
@ae_savory @TBreakdownMag @UK_Counsellors I wondered this as well but didn't get a reply, so I looked it up - they are completely unqualified AND on the website it allows you to sign up even if you say you are in crisis. Totally unethical in my opinion.
@TBreakdownMag I’ve heard about Peer Collective before but I’m really confused by it! I cannot work out from their website- are the people who work for them actual, qualified counsellors? Or are they unqualified? It is so unclear!
@CraigLe25711685 @AskADHD I wish I could but like you say not an option! Lots of coffee and lots of lists were my coping mechanisms before I got diagnosed so I’m starting with those again!
I have run out of ADHD medication and can’t get more for a few days. How do people manage this? What is the best way to get through a no medication period? #adhd#askadhd
I totally forgot that today was the last day of my plan to post on Instagram every day for a month! Which I did, except for 1 day. Followers have gone from 250-ish to over 3,000 in the last 4 weeks and I used IG to start a business idea that has made over £800 in a week...
I forgot how stressful applying to university was... been told I will hear back about my Masters application early next week so this is going to be a nervous weekend!!
@ReloadedDreams Yes I love being able to choose to eat exactly what I want! I love to cook as well, one of my favourite things is cooking for my boyfriend and I!!
@annagranta I loved reading as a child and like lots of people with ADHD, found I was doing it less and less as I got older, until I could barely focus on reading for more than 5 mins. Turns out I needed low strength reading glasses & haven’t stopped reading since!!
https://t.co/xyKQzbfWcN my first two ADHD courses, written by me, a teacher who also has ADHD, are available to pre-order now! The study skills course is only £15 until 1pm on Wednesday 20th!
