If you lost someone very special in your life, this is for you.
“Tired of hearing that I will see you again in the 'next life. I don't want to wait a lifetime to see you again. I want to see you today, right now.
Tired of being told I have memories to cherish. I don't want memories, I want to make memories with you.
Tired of the words "time heals". Time will never heal this empty place called my heart.
So tired of hearing that you are with God now, safely in his care...an angel in heaven. I really do not care where they say you are. I want you here. Here. Here with me. I want to see you, feel you, touch you, hear you, speak to you, and just sit in silence with you. It doesn't make me feel any better knowing you are at Disney land or on a cruise... or in heaven.
I am so tired of hearing that you are with me always. That you are watching over me. I can't see a spirit or touch a ghost. I do not want you as a guardian angel. I want you as a face to face human being. I want you alive and breathing. I want to hear your heartbeat and see your chest rising with each breath.
I am so tired of trying to make a life again. A life without you.
Tired of trying to smile. Tired of being strong. Tired of holding back tears. I am so lost. The pain is unbearable. Sometimes can barely breathe. I am so tired. Tired of having a reason to grieve.”
#Repost to show someone that they are not alone.
“When I am gone, do not fear my memory.
Do not be afraid to speak my name or look through old photographs.
Do not be scared to play old videos so that you might hear my voice and see me laughing.
Do not be wary of visiting my favourite places or eating my favourite foods or singing along to my favourite songs.
I know it will hurt. Those memories will remind you that I am gone.
They will stab at you like a knife in an open, gaping wound. Raw, excruciating pain.
But after a while the knife will become less sharp, the wound will become less open and the pain will become less raw.
And those memories will remind you that I was here. That I lived.
Do not reduce my life to my death.
Speak my name, hear my voice, sing my favourite songs and visit my favourite places.
Because that’s how I can stay alive a little.
Right here with you.”

Sometimes we feel that as another year passes, the person who died seems further away. We never leave them behind. They will always be with us in our hearts 🧡
As the world celebrates moving forward from this year to the next, those mourning the loss of loved ones who died in the “old” year face the devastating reality that their dear ones will not be in the new year. "Happy New Year" might not be what they want to hear right now.
It's the 1st December. I want to channel how I'm feeling into something positive & so would like to share a little more about what we know happened to Alexander in the hope it'll raise awareness of #sudc. I'm so grateful for the support that has given me strength to speak (1/?)

Please, please read this article and RT it, because it sums up exactly why these restrictive practices are SO damaging. Hull hospitals to change patient visiting arrangements from this week - Hull Live https://t.co/YQfm3WEVqX
If you’ve been struggling to get reasonable access to family in hospital & feel you just aren’t being heard contact @Charliehparker he wants to hear your stories. The only way we can change things is to shine a light on the those hospitals who are ignoring the guidance. Please RT
Many hospital & care homes still have a CRUEL & totally unscientific policy of one visitor, but it has to be the same person!!This is hugely distressing for the rest of the family and exhausting for that person, who is often elderly. It forces families to make dreadful choices.
